Procedure

To a solution of 4-(2-(1-tert-butyl-5-(4-fluorophenyl)-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)thiazol-4-yl)piperidine-1-carboxylic acid (338 mg, 0.70 mmol) in ethyl acetate (1 mL) was added 4N hydrogen chloride/ethyl acetate (1 mL, 4.00 mmol), and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 14 hr. The precipitate was collected by filtration, and washed with ethyl acetate to give the title compound (294 mg, 0.698 mmol, 100%) as a pale-yellow powder.

Workup

  1. filtrationThe precipitate was collected by filtration
  2. washwashed with ethyl acetate
