To a solution of tert-butyl N-[(1S,2S)-2-[5-chloro-2-(2H-1,2,3-triazol-2-yl)benzamido]cyclopentyl]carbamate (170 mg, 0.418 mmol) in DCM (5 ml) was added HCl in 1,4-dioxane (4 M, 3 ml). The reaction was stirred at room temperature overnight and then concentrated in vacuo. The solid was triturated with diethyl ether (3×1 ml) to afford the title compound.
