To a solution of 2-[(4-quinolin-3-ylmethyl-piperazine-1-carbonyl)-amino]-benzoic acid methyl ester (26 mg) in THF (0.5 mL) under N2 was added potassium trimethyl silanoate (9 mg) in one portion and the mixture was stirred at rt for 14 h. The mixture was concentrated to give the title compound as a white amorphous solid (22 mg). 1H NMR (400 MHz, CD3OD): 8.81 (d, J=2.1 Hz, 1H), 8.23-8.21 (m, 1H), 8.14 (dd, J=8.4, 0.9 Hz, 1H), 7.96-7.93 (m, 1H), 7.91 (dd, J=7.9, 1.6 Hz, 1H), 7.88-7.85 (m, 1H), 7.68 (ddd, J=8.4, 6.9, 1.4 Hz, 1H), 7.54 (ddd, J=8.1, 7.0, 1.1 Hz, 1H), 7.19-7.23 (m, 1H), 6.81-6.85 (m, 1H), 3.71 (s, 2H), 3.51-3.54 (m, 4H), 2.49-2.51 (m, 4H).
