Reaction Steps
A mixture of 15 mmol of 3,4,5-trifluorophenylmagnesium bromide (prepared from 3,4,5-trifluorobromobenzene and magnesium turnings), 15 mmol of 4E and 50 ml of diethyl ether is stirred for 15 hours. After conventional work-up the product is obtained, which is processed further without purification.
