N, 1-Dimethyl-6-methoxy-1H-indole-2-carboxamide According to the procedure of Preparation 1(b), except substituting methyl-1-methyl-6-methoxy-1H-indole-2-carboxylate for ethyl-1-methyl-1H-indole-2-carboxylate, the title compound (95%) was prepared as an off-white solid: MS (ES) m/e 219.2 (M+H)+ and 437.4 (2M+H)+.
