1-(4-Methoxybenzyl)-1H-tetrazole-5-carbonyl chloride is reacted in methylene chloride with 2-aminopyrazine to obtain N-(2-pyrazinyl)-1-(4-methoxybenzyl)-1H-tetrazole-5-carboxamide. The protected intermediate is deprotected and worked up by the techniques described in Example 1 to yield the title compound.
