Procedure
In analogy to the procedure described in example 2 c], (R)-(6-{1-[4-methyl-2-(4-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-thiazol-5-yl]-ethoxy}-indol-1-yl)-acetic acid tert-butyl ester was treated with LiOH to obtain (R)-(6-{1-[4-methyl-2-(4-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-thiazol-5-yl]-ethoxy}-indol-1-yl)-acetic acid as light brown solid. According to chiral HPLC (Chiralpak-ADH), the enantiomeric excess amounts to 89%. MS: 459.1 (M−H)−.
