Reaction Steps
In analogy to the procedure described in example 3 c], (6-hydroxy-indol-1-yl)-acetic acid tert-butyl ester (example 6 b]) was reacted with 2-(5-methyl-2-phenyl-thiazol-4-yl)-ethanol in the presence of triphenylphosphine and di-tert-butyl azodicarboxylate to yield {6-[2-(5-methyl-2-phenyl-thiazol-4-yl)-ethoxy]-indol-1-yl}-acetic acid tert-butyl ester as yellow oil.
