To a solution of N-(2,6-difluoro-3-hydroxy-phenyl)-5-(3-fluorophenyl)-2,3-dimethyl-benzamide (160 mg, 0.4 mmol, 1.0 eq) in THF (15 mL) was added a solution of BH3 (1M in THF, 180 mg, 2.1 mmol, 5.0 eq). The solution was stirred for 30 min then heated at 60° C. overnight. The reaction was quenched by addition of 1M HCl and the aqueous layer extracted with EtOAc. The organic extract was washed with brine, dried (Na2SO4), filtered and evaporated in vacuo to give the title compound as a white solid (137 mg, 89%).
