The title compound (1.56 g, 4.60 mmol) was prepared from 2-nitrobenzenesulfonyl chloride (2.66 g, 12.0 mmol), 5,6-dimethoxy-3-pyridinamine (2.04 g, 13.2 mmol) and pyridine (2.9 mL, 36.0 mmol) using the methods of (IntA1), step 1.
