1.5 ml of ethylamine (a 70% aqueous solution) was added to a mixture of 600 mg of 4-chloro-2-(4-chloro-2-ethylsulfanylphenyl)-7-trifluoromethylquinazoline and 10 ml of THF, and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 20 minutes. The reaction mixture was concentrated under reduced pressure, and a saturated aqueous sodium bicarbonate solution was added to the residue, and then the mixture was extracted with ethyl acetate. The organic layer was washed with water and concentrated under reduced pressure to obtain 606 mg of 2-(4-chloro-2-ethylsulfanylphenyl)-4-ethylamino-7-trifluoro methylquinazoline (Compound of Present Invention 15).
