Procedure
2-[2-(N-Boc-Aminoethoxy)-4-isopropylbenzylamino]-N-(4-chlorophenyl)pyridine-3-carboxamide (0.02 g, 0.04 mmol) was dissolved in 2 mL of a 1:3 mixture of trifluoroacetic aicd:methylene chloride. The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 30 min. The solvent was removed, and the material was purified by ion exchange chromatography to afford the title compound (0.014 g, 88%) as the free base.
