Procedure

The title compound was prepared according to the procedure described in Example 4, Step 2, starting from 2-chloro-3-(2-phenoxyethoxy)pyrazine (150 mg, 0.60 mmol; from Example 1, Step 1) and N-ethylpiperazine (250 mg, 2.19 mmol) with the exception that a final extraction step between EtOAc and 5% aqueous NaOH was carried out. This gave 127 mg (64%) of the title product. Anal. (C18H24N4O2) C, H, N.

Workup

  1. extractionextraction step between EtOAc and 5% aqueous NaOH
