Procedure

A solution of 1.17 g of Compound 5b in 10 ml of acetone and 22.1 ml of 2N HCl was stirred at r.t. for 5 h. After overnight resting, the aqueous layer was extracted with EtOAc. The collected organic layers were washed with water, dried (Na2SO4) and the solvent was evaporated under vacuum to give 0.84 g (100%) of the title compound used immediately without further purification.
