Pyridine-3-sulfonyl chloride (0.34 mmol) was added to a solution of C-{4-[4-(3-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-1H-imidazol-2-yl]-cyclohexyl}-methylamine (0.31 mmol) and triethylamine (0.62 mmol) in CH2Cl2 (5 mL). The mixture was stirred overnight at room temperature, diluted with CH2Cl2, washed with saturated NaHCO3, dried over Na2SO4, and concentrated under vacuum. The residue was purified by flash chromatography (90:10 CH2Cl2/MeOH) to give Pyridine-3-sulfonic acid trans-{4-[4-(3-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-1H-imidazol-2-yl]-cyclohexylmethyl}-amide.
