Procedure

25 gms (0.1111 moles) of the product obtained from Example 1 and 45 gms (0.4455 moles) of triethylamine with 125 ml of dichloromethane were charged in a reaction vessel and cooled to −5 to −10° C. A solution of Methane sulphonyl chloride (45 gms, 0.3888 moles) in dichloromethane (50 ml) was added slowly at −5 to 10° C. and stirred for about 16 hours at 25-30° C. The resulting mixture was washed with water (25 ml). The collected organic layer was concentrated to obtain the title compound (36 gms).
