To a mixture of 3-{3-amino-4-[4-(3,5-dimethylpyridin-2-yl)piperazine-1-carbonyl]phenyl}oxazolidin-2-one (80 mg) described in Example 133, triethylamine (0.1 mL) and methylene chloride (2 mL) was added acetyl chloride (0.03 mL), and the mixture was stirred overnight. Water was added to the reaction mixture, and the mixture was extracted with ethyl acetate. The organic layer was washed with saturated brine, and the solvent was evaporated. The residue was purified by column chromatography (chloroform:methanol) to give the title compound (55.3 mg).
