Reaction Steps
A solution of D3 and methyl 5-(bromomethyl)-2-fluorobenzoate (prepared as described in US 2007/0021427) (1 eq) in ACN (0.1 M) was heated to reflux for 1 h 30 min. After cooling down, evaporation of the solvent under reduced pressure afforded the title compound as yellow foam.
