In a manner similar to the method described in Example 1e, rac-(2R,3R,4R,5S)-3-(3-chloro-phenyl)-4-(4-chloro-phenyl)-4-cyano-5-(2,2-dimethyl-propyl)-pyrrolidine-2-carboxylic acid trifluoroacetic acid prepared in Example 25a (0.16 g, 0.37 mmol) was reacted with 2-cyclopropylethylamine (Bridge Organics) (0.1 g, 1.1 mmol), HATU (0.2 g, 0.5 mmol) and iPr2NEt (0.3 g, 2 mmol) in CH2Cl2 (20 mL) at room temperature for 20 h to give rac-(2R,3R,4R,5S)-3-(3-chloro-phenyl)-4-(4-chloro-phenyl)-4-cyano-5-(2,2-dimethyl-propyl)-pyrrolidine-2-carboxylic acid (2-cyclopropyl-ethyl)-amide as a white solid (0.11 g, 37%).
