1,1,1,3,3,3-Hexafluoro-2-(4-((4-(3-nitrophenylsulfonyl)piperazin-1-yl)methyl)phenyl)propan-2-ol (1.660 mmol, 875.3 mg) and palladium on carbon were combined in ethyl acetate (20 mL). The reaction mixture was hydrogenated at 2 bar pressure for 1 hour. The reaction mixture was filtered through dicalite and concentrated under vacuum to afford the title compound (950.5 mg).
