Reaction Steps

To a solution of 2-{2′-[(benzyloxycarbonyl-ethyl-amino)-methyl]-6-methoxy-4′-trifluoromethyl-biphenyl-3-yl}-propionic acid ethyl ester (0.11 mmol) in EtOH (12 mL) was added 10% palladium on carbon (0.050 g), and the reaction was stirred under a balloon of H2 at room temperature for 1 hour. The mixture was filtered through a pad of Celite and rinsed with EtOH. The filtrate was concentrated to give the title compound.
