A solution of 4-(amino(5-(4-(bis(4-methoxybenzyl)amino)-6-methyl-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)-6-(6-methoxypyridin-3-ylamino)pyridin-3-yl)methyl)-N,N-dimethylbenzenesulfonamide (12.88 mg, 0.017 mmol) in TFA (1 mL) was heated at 100° C. in a sealed tube for 4 h, after which time reaction was complete. The mixture was concentrated and purified by prep HPLC to give 4-(amino(5-(4-amino-6-methyl-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)-6-(6-methoxypyridin-3-ylamino)pyridin-3-yl)methyl)-N,N-dimethylbenzenesulfonamide trifluoroacetate (3.2 mg). m/z (ESI, +ve ion) 522 (M+H)+.
