A mixture of 1-(5-(5-fluoro-6-methoxypyridin-3-ylamino)-6-(2-methyl-6-(methylthio)pyrimidin-4-yl)pyrazin-2-yl)ethanone (52 mg, 0.130 mmol) and 3-chloroperoxybenzoic acid (44.8 mg, 0.260 mmol, Aldrich, St. Louis, Mo.) in dioxane (1 mL) was stirred at room temperature for 2 h. The mixture was taken on directly to the next step without work-up.
