Reaction Steps
A mixture of [3-(benzyloxy)phenyl](1-cyclopentyl-1H-indazol-3-yl)methanol (0.24 g, 0.6 mmol) and 10% palladium on carbon in ethanol/cyclohexene (3:1, v/v) was heated at reflux for 1 hour. The catalyst was filtered (celite) and the filtrate concentrated in vacuo to give 0.85 g of product as a white solid.
