A mixture of 4-(3-cyclopentyloxy-4-methoxyphenyl)-pyrrolidin-2-one (300 mg, 1.1 mmol) and 3-bromobenzoic acid ethyl ester (303 mg, 1.32 mmol) was treated according to General Procedure I to provide 310 mg of the desired product as a white solid. Yield: 67%.
