N-{[(2-{[(5-Chloropyridin-2-yl)amino]carbonyl}-benzofuran-3-yl)amino]carbonyl}-β-alanine t-butyl ester (1.71 g) obtained in Example 11(1) is dissolved in trifluoroacetic acid (15 ml), and the mixture is stirred at room temperature for 1 hour and 45 minutes. The reaction solution is concentrated in vacuo to reduce the volume by about half. To the residue is added diisopropyl ether and the precipitates are collected by filtration to give the title compound (1.57 g). ESI-MS M/Z:401/403[M−H]−
