Procedure
To a solution of 0.29 mmol of the compound obtained in Step 1 in 6 ml of dichloromethane there are added 4 drops of 10% HCl solution. The reaction mixture is stirred at ambient temperature for 3 days and is then dried and evaporated under reduced pressure. Chromatography of the residue over silica gel (dichloromethane/methanol: gradient from 0.2 to 5%) allows the expected product to be isolated.
Workup
- customis then dried
- customevaporated under reduced pressure
- customto be isolated
