The tert-Butyl (E)-3-{2-(3-hydroxypiperidino)-8-[(E)-2-(4-isopropyl-1,3-thiazol-2-yl)-1-ethenyl]-4-oxo-4H-pyrido[1,2-a]pyrimidin-3-yl}-2-propenoate (43.4 mg, 0.0830 mmol) obtained in (H) was dissolved in 1,4-dioxane (200 μl), added with 4 N hydrochloric acid solution in 1,4-dioxane, and stirred at room temperature for 3.5 hours. The reaction solution was concentrated, and the residue was purified by thin layer chromatography (chloroform:methanol:water=10:1:0→8:3:0.1→7:3:1, v/v) to obtain the title compound (18.9 mg, 49%).
