The tert-butyl (E)-3-{8-[2-(4-isopropyl-1,3-thiazol-2-yl)ethyl]-4-oxo-4H-pyrido-[1,2-a]pyrimidin-3-yl}-2-methyl-2-propenoate (70 mg) obtained in (A) was dissolved in trifluoroacetic acid (1 ml) and stirred at room temperature for 1 hour, and then the solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure. The residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography to obtain the title compound (21 mg).
