The tert-butyl (E)-3-{8-[2-(4-isopropyl-1,3-thiazol-2-yl)ethyl]-2-methoxy-4-oxo-4H-pyrido[1,2-a]pyrimidin-3-yl}-2-propenoate (6.7 mg) obtained in (A) was treated with trifluoroacetic acid (0.5 ml) in the dark for 30 minutes, and then the solvent was evaporated. The residue was added with methanol and methylene chloride, and insoluble matters were collected by filtration to obtain the title compound (7.2 mg).
