The tert-butyl (E)-3-{8-[2-(4-isopropyl-1,3-thiazol-2-yl)ethyl]-4-oxo-9-methoxy-2-morpholino-4H-pyrido[1,2-a]pyrimidin-3-yl}-2-propenoate (209 mg) obtained in (I) was dissolved in trifluoroacetic acid (2 ml) and stirred at room temperature for 30 minutes. The solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure to obtain the title compound (180 mg) as yellow powder.
