Procedure

Using essentially the same procedure as Example 9, Step B, but using t-butylamine (0.022 mL), 4,5-di-(4-methylphenyl)-1-methylimidazole-2-carboxylic acid (25 mg, 0.08 mmol) from Example 9, Step A was converted to the title compound. HPLC/MS: 362 (M+1); Rt=3.92 min.
