Reaction Steps
100 mg of benzyloxycarbonyl-L-pyroglutamyl-L-histidyl-L-prolyl-β-alaninamide hemiacetate were dissolved in 20 ml of 0.5-N acetic acid and hydrogenated with the addition of palladium/carbon. The catalyst was filtered off and the filtrate lyophilised. Yield: 80 mg.
