880 mg of 11β-fluoro-3-hydroxy-7α-(5-iodopentyl)oestra-1,3,5(10)-trien-17-one and 1.26 g of (3,4,4,5,5,5-hexa-fluoropent-2-enyl)methylamine are dissolved in 20 ml of N-methylpyrrolidone and stirred at a bath temperature of 80° C. for 3 hours. After the reaction solution has cooled to room temperature, the mixture is added to saturated sodium chloride solution, extracted with diethyl ether, dried and concentrated in vacuo. 1.86 g of 11β-fluoro-7α-{5-[(3,4,4,5,5,5-hexafluoropent-2-enyl)methylamino]pentyl}-3-hydroxyestra-1,3,5(10)-trien-17-one are obtained as a crude product which is employed in the next stage without purification.
