Procedure
Following the general procedure for protected phenyl thiourea formation outlined in example 12, N-[4-Chloro-2-hydroxy-3-[N″,N″-dimethylaminosulfonyl]phenyl]-N′-(2-methylphenyl)thiourea (557 mg, 1.39 mmol), tert-butyldimethylsilyl chloride (1.04 mg, 6.95 mmol) and imidazole (189 mg, 2.78 mmol) were reacted to form the desired product (410 mg, 57%). EI-MS m/z 514.2 (M+).
