Procedure
Following the general procedure for carbodiimide formation outlined in example 12, N-(2,3-difluorophenyl)-N′-[4-chloro-2-tert-butyldimethylsilyloxy-3-(N″,N″-dimethylaminosulfonyl)phenyl]thiourea (347 mg, 0.69 mmol), methanesulfonyl chloride (0.12 mL, 1.38 mmol) and triethylamine (0.2 mL, 1.04 mmol) were reacted to form the desired product (340 mg, crude). 1H NMR (CDCl3) δ 0.39 (s, 6H), 1.03 (s, 9H), 2.86 (s, 6H), 6.95 (t, 1H), 7.03 (m, 2H), 7.08 (d, 1H), 7.31 (d, 1H).
