To a stirred solution of (1-(3-chlorophenyl)-3-(trifluoromethyl)-1H-pyrazol-5-yl)methanamine (100 mg, 0.316 mmol, 1.0 eq.) in DCM (2.0 mL) was added Et3N (0.07 mL, 0.632 mmol, 3.0 eq) followed by phenyl 3-fluoro-4-(hydroxymethyl)phenylcarbamate (82.4 mg, 0.316 mmol, 1.0 eq.) at RT and stirred for 16 h. After completion of the reaction, a solid precipitate was filtered and washed with DCM (2 mL) followed by n-pentane (5 mL) and dried to get 1-((1-(3-chlorophenyl)-3-(trifluoromethyl)-1H-pyrazol-5-yl)methyl)-3-(3-fluoro-4-(hydroxymethyl)phenyl)urea (compound A59) (80 mg; 47%, white solid; TLC system: EtOAc/PE (3:2); Rf: 0.2).
