To an EtOH (3 mL) solution of N-{6-[2-Methyl-4-(methylamino)phenoxy]pyridin-3-yl}-4-(trifluoromethyl)benzamide (0.30 g) was added 6 M aqueous HCl (0.13 mL) at 0° C. The resultant mixture was stirred at 0° C. The resulting precipitate was recrystallized from EtOH/H2O, giving the title compound as a white powder (0.20 g).
