Procedure

To a solution of 2,3-dihydro-1,5-naphthyridin-4(1H)-one (1 eq.) and DCM (0.2 eq.) is added DIEA (2.2 eq.) and acetyl chloride (1.2 eq.). The reaction is monitored by TLC. The reaction is washed with water, brine, dried over MgSO4, concentrated in vacuo, and purified by column chromatography to give the title compound.
