The title compound was prepared from 3-oxo-2,8-diaza-spiro[4,5]decane-8-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester and 4-bromofuran-2(5H)-one in two steps in an analogous fashion to that described for 2-(5-Oxo-2,5-dihydrofuran-3-yl)-2,9-diazaspiro[5.5]undecan-1-one (I-18) above. LC/MS: [(M+1)]+=237
