A solution of tert-butyl 4-(1-benzhydrylazetidin-3-yloxy)-5-cyclopropyl-2-fluorobenzoate (650 mg, 1.37 mmol) in DCM (10 mL) and trifluoroacetic acid (5 mL) was stirred at room temperature for 2 h. The solvent was removed and the residue was used in the next step without further purification.
