250 mg of the product of step 1 and 10 mL POCl3 were heated to 100° C. for 1 h. The excess POCl3 was removed by distillation and the residue was treated with ice and diluted with dichloromethane. The phases were separated, the aqueous layer was extracted twice with dichloromethane, the combined organic layers were dried over Na2SO4 and concentrated to give the crude product.
