Procedure
1H-pyrazole (0.201 g, 2.95 mmol) was taken in sealed tube vessel and heated to 80° C. To the melted compound 4-bromo-6-methoxyisoquinolin-1-ol (0.25 g, 0.984 mmol) was added and heating was raised to 150° C. and stirred for overnight. The reaction mixture was cooled to RT. The resulting solid (6-methoxy-4-(1H-pyrazol-1-yl) isoquinolin-1-ol (0.25 g, 0.114 mmol) 11.59% yield) was taken to the next step without further purification. MS: MS m/z 242.10 (M++1).
