Reaction Steps
Following General Procedure B, 9-bromo-8-methoxythieno[2,3-c]quinolin-4(5H)-one (3.0 g, 9.7 mmol) was reacted with (R)-tert-butyl 1-(4-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)phenyl)ethylcarbamate (5.0 g, 14 mmol) to afford the desired product (2.0 g, 47%) as a brown solid: ESI MS m/z 451 [C25H26N2O4S+H]+.
