Following General Procedure H, (R)-tert-butyl 1-(4-(8-methoxy-4-oxo-4,5-dihydrothieno[2,3-c]quinolin-9-yl)phenyl)ethyl(methyl)carbamate (200 mg, 0.43 mmol) was reacted with NCS (69 mg, 0.52 mmol) to afford the desired product (43 mg, 20%) as a yellowish solid. ESI MS m/z 499 [C26H27ClN2O4S+H]+.
