Following General Procedure B, 9-bromo-8-methoxythieno[2,3-c]quinolin-4(5H)-one (180 mg, 0.48 mmol) was reacted with (E)-tert-butyl 1-[3-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)allyl]piperidin-4-ylcarbamate (100 mg, 0.32 mmol) to afford the desired product (86 mg, 57%) as a brown solid: ESI MS m/z 470 [C25H31N3O4S+H]+.
