5-(tert-Butyl)-3-((tert-butylamino)methyl)-3′-(trifluoromethyl)-[1,1′-biphenyl]-2-ol was prepared as a white solid using the procedure described in Example 27, Step 2 5-(tert-butyl)-2-hydroxy-3′-(trifluoromethyl)-[1,1′-biphenyl]-3-carbaldehyde and tert-butylamine HPLC/MS Rt=6.64 min, m/z 380.2 (M+H+).
