To a solution of (S)-2-(2-chloro-1,1-difluoroethyl)-1-methylpiperidine (39 mg in 1.5 mL N,N-dimethylformamide) was added 7-chloro-3-(3,5-dimethylphenyl)-4-hydroxy-2-oxo-1,2-dihydroquinoline-6-carboxylic acid pyrimidin-4-ylamide (64 mg), potassium bicarbonate (32 mg) and sodium iodide (25 mg) then heated to 80° C. on an oil bath. After 16 hours, the reaction was cooled to room temperature and concentrated in vacuo. Purification of the crude product by preparative tic on silica gel (chloroform:2M ammonium in methanol, 97:3) gave the title compound (56 mg). MASS: 582 (M+H)
