3-[4-(2-Aminoethyl)phenyl]-1-isopropenyl-1,3-dihydro-2H-imidazo[4,5-b]pyridin-2-one formate (0.32 g, 0.96 mmol) was reacted with tert-butyl-(4-oxiranylmethoxy-phenoxy)-diphenyl-silane (0.433 g, 1.07 mmol) according to Procedure G (eluant: 20:1 going to 10:1 chloroform-methanol) to give the title compound (0.19 g, 0.272 mmol).
