Reaction Steps
In analogy to example 1, the crude 1-(propane-2-sulfonyl)-aziridine-2-carboxylic acid methyl ester from example 82, step 1 was reacted with sodium iodide and 2-chlorophenyl isocyanate to give (RS)-3-(2-chloro-phenyl)-2-oxo-1-(propane-2-sulfonyl)-imidazolidine-4-carboxylic acid methyl ester as a light yellow oil. MS: 361.1 ([M+H]+)
